Saxon Math 3
A Strong Foundation = Courage for Advanced Math
Important Notes: We will begin by reviewing and quickly move on to third grade math this year.
After every five lessons, there is a Written Assessment.
For each worksheet, we do Side A together in class; Side B is homework.
Please check your student's homework nightly and correct any mistakes.
Students have ten opportunities to practice a new concept before it shows up on a test.
This is why homework is so important! Students who practice new concepts correctly have higher scores on their Written Assessments.
Fact Assessments accompany Written Assessments after every five lessons.
We begin with ADDITION FACTS but will quickly move on to MULTIPLICATION.
Students enjoy setting goals and moving their Super Star sticks each week.
Please watch for more important information from Saxon on the website each month.
