Meet Mrs. Lee!
My name is Mrs. Catherine Lee, and I want to personally welcome you and your family to my class for the 2013-2014 school year! I have the honor of being your child’s second grade teacher at Imagine Indigo Ranch. I am excited for the opportunity to work with you and your child and am eager to start on a journey of learning! It is a privilege and an honor to teach, guide, and celebrate with you and your child as he/she grows academically, socially, and mentally.
As a teacher, I am passionate about fostering higher-level thinking skills, moral development, and a joy and curiosity in learning in my students’ minds. Throughout my academic career, I have received multiple honors for my dedication and excellence, culminating with a BA in Early Childhood Education and license by the State of Colorado as an Early Childhood Educator. Being a member of the Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society allows me to network with other professionals and keep current with educational topics. In addition, I am planning on beginning my Masters Program in Literacy next year.
Now, a little bit about me! I have been married for 5 years, and my husband is an Officer in the Air Force. We love to travel around the world, drink coffee, and read in our hammocks in the mountains. I enjoy playing the violin and piano, and my favorite thing to eat is Korean food because it is delicious and healthy! I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl, since I love school, studying, and children.
I look forward to bringing a classical approach and enthusiastic spirit to teaching your child and working with all of you!
